This technology provides up to 6 dB signal-to-noise ratio improvement, helping you follow conversations in restaurants, gatherings, and other challenging listening situations. Same-Day Fitting Flexibility

Unlike traditional custom in-the-ear hearing aids that require impressions and waiting periods, Oticon Zeal offers fitting flexibility similar to receiver-in-canal devices. Dr. Ivory can fit you with Zeal on the same day using instant-fit domes—the same ones used for Oticon Intent. If you prefer or require a more customized fit, we can also provide Zeal-specific micro molds tailored to your ear canal.

This flexibility means you can start hearing better immediately, with the option to adjust your fitting approach based on your comfort and acoustic needs.

Modern Connectivity for Your Digital Life

Zeal's unique wrap-around antenna serves three purposes: it secures the device in your ear, provides an easy way to remove it, and enables reliable Bluetooth Low Energy Audio streaming. You can stream phone calls, music, meetings, and more directly from your iPhone, Android device, Apple Watch, TV, PC, or tablet.

The device supports hands-free calling and includes Google Fast Pair for simple Android connectivity. Zeal is also Auracast-enabled right now—no firmware update needed—allowing you to connect to broadcast audio in public venues like theaters, airports, and places of worship. The Oticon Companion app acts as your Auracast Assistant, making it easy to find and connect to available audio streams with a single tap.

All-Day Rechargeable Power

Zeal provides up to 20 hours of battery life with typical streaming use. The compact SmartCharger holds enough power for multiple full charges when you're on the go. If you need a quick boost, just 15 minutes of charging provides 4 hours of use, while 30 minutes gives you 8 hours.

The lithium-ion battery is designed to support around 2,000 charging cycles, providing reliable performance for over 5 years of daily use.

Durability Through Encapsulation

Oticon's new manufacturing approach fully encapsulates the electronics in protective resin, similar to how amber preserves objects in nature. This process eliminates hollow spaces inside the device, fixing components in optimal positions and protecting them from moisture, debris, and mechanical stress. The result is an IP68-rated device—the highest level of protection against water and dust—built to withstand daily wear in all weather conditions.

Fitting Candidacy

Zeal fits well in approximately two out of three people when using instant-fit domes. The device provides about 40 dB of gain with domes, accommodating moderate to moderately-severe hearing loss. With custom micro molds, the fitting range can extend to losses up to 75 dB HL, depending on your hearing loss configuration.
